Tzu Chi’s Three Great Resolutions(誠心祈三願)
the Three Resolutions in Tzu Chi - a common prayer to alleviate suffering for Earth.
人心淨化,
Purify Hearts of Minds of People,
社會祥和,
Harmonise and bring properity to Society,
天下無災難。
May natural disasters be Gone!
Shang Ren (a term of endearment Tzu Chi volunteers use to call our dearest human teacher, Master Cheng Yen.
Master Cheng Yen gave this “Ang-bao” (2022) as a gesture of Goodwill towards her volunteers. It contains Tzu Chi’s Three Great Resolutions - the most common set of (secular) prayers we make after every Tzu Chi event to send Goodwill to all people.
As Tzu Chi was founded in Hualien, eastern Taiwan, much of traditional Chinese culture has been preserved throughout our multi-national charity organisation. As Tzu Chi is rooted in Humanistic Buddhism, a very practical, real-world-focused school of Buddhism (Jing Si Dharma Lineage, romanized as “Purifying Reflections” in English.)
See our lovely, elderly Dharma Master who sleeps about 3 hours a day, who wakes up at 3am to send blessings (“祝福”)to the world and condition her lovely, purified mind for the well-being of Earth. 🙏
May we all find the blessings we seek in this lifetime,
Carey (政輝)
(East 1 Zone 2,

Eco-Day volunteer.)
